WGMT; who's got my tail opend!!!

Finally WGMT has opened today. "WGWT;Who's got my tail" is kids and lifestyle design brand. It starts with a kind email said a stylish publisher love my illustration, she is also young working mom with a son. Her boy was 5ish learning alphabet already. She was tired of messy or cold graphic illustration in market. when she asked me to launch a brand together,i didn't consider i could be the right one for kids market. However i aimed to be lifestyle illustration as well like above photos, i am quiet happy for the results and all the philosophy , marketing structure we aimed. visit the page you will see why do we need a bit of sweetness in our own places. It also all printed on eco-friendly papers with soybeanoil-ink for kids and interior purpose.

Soo's Little known London (vol1: EASTLONDON)

Here is front page for the article about Little known (hidden) side of East London. Rather than going for the high streets or tourists spot packed with people and processed food, i am going to introduce  streets with small shops near residential area .This is my very first editorials including writing, photos and illustration. The tone of voices had been edited to be more informative but for now it is very worthwile to check if you are planing to visit London this Summer .On 2013 July;next issue i am introducing WestLondon.

PROMOPRESS에서 낸 현대 일러스트 작가소개집에 작품과 작가소개가 함께 실리게 되었습니다.

Beer night

a pint of beer after deadlines and boring hospital days! OLA~!

두 개의 언어와 두 개의타임 존 안에서 또 다시 헤어지고 만나고 횟수로 4년 차.
허물어지는 마음을 숨기고 여느 때처럼 묵묵히 이별하고 바다 마을을 떠나는 짐을 쌌습니다.
그래도  여느 때보다 부쩍 늘은 영어실력과 재미난 기회로  런던을 꼼꼼히 즐기고 있습니다만 
4월은 말그대로  기절초풍으로 두 번의 응급실과 이어진 병원 순례.

살아야겠습니다. 무엇보다도 행복하게 건강하게.
순조로운 13년, 몸의 건강을 찾는게 무엇보다 우선인 5월입니다

Reportage Paris

This piece is  from a project which i have never get updated yet. 
However i found i enjoy drawing the buildings and scenery much more than i expect i would.
I am pretty happy how it comes out sort of  silently athmosphere.

S: Yes, i have 3d planets hanging on cecil just  above the desk. They are glittering in  the dark.

그리니치 천문대에 우르르 몰려 갔을때 산 우주볼들이 불을 끄면 빛을 냅니다.
어느새 해가 질 때와 빛나는 우주볼을 보며 스튜디오를 나설 때가 하루 중 가장 좋아요.

2013 Happy New Year Post
"Learn via body."
riding a horse , cycling, language, love and drawing
I found the skills i had learnt via body last longer than any lifelong faiths i believed.
Also we often find how stupidly pathetic way relatively unimportant issues have massive impact on a big decision. I have made those mistakes which make me moveless  recently. 
This piece is first personal work since new year.
While i was worked on it , I hoped i could hesitate less but do it wise and fully
 just like the girl in the picture.

말타기 , 자전거, 언어, 그림,그리고 사랑하기. 
떨어지고 다치고 밤을 새며 하지만 이 한 몸을 자연과 마주해 얻은
몸을 통해 배운 것들은 시간이 지나도 나에게 남아있습니다.
이상, 가치, 열정, 사랑 등은 아무리 절실한 가치였어도 늘 변하는 것 같구요.
내가 그 당시 절실히 믿은 가치 중 완고하게 굳이 몸을 통해 살아낸 것만 온전히 내 것이 된다고 돌아보며 느낍니다.
너무 많이 배우고 재고 가늠하면 가끔 믿을 수 없이 멍청한 짓을 할 때가 있지요. 
그리고 스스로  그  멍텅구리 짓들을 인정하기 전까지 한발 짝도 움직일 수 없구요.
조금 덜 주저하고 조금 더 지르고 , 스스로 자랑스럽길.
그저 오늘 하루 많이 쓰이고  많이 웃고 많이 주고 받으면 되겠지. 
으럇!
